To all youth finishing 8th grade and older,
"We have had a long complicated history. The church has done a lot of great things and a lot of not so great ones. When we reflect on who we are, it can be easy to walk away from our journey as disciples, but the good news is that though we are not perfect by a long shot, God is!" - Nick
This year, our youth will live monastically together, performing the daily offices, having workshops and guest speakers to reflect on how we can be a better church.
They will hear from people who have have suffered trauma from religious experiences and how they still believe in the Jesus Movement.
As we get older, we realize how complicated the world is and our Christian community is no different. This trip is intended for any youth who have questioned anything and to know that that is okay!

Finding Joy!!!!
Our youth will travel to the magical land of Florida to live together for a week monastically to learn and find Joy in participating in the healing of the world that Christ invites us to live out.
